I understand that People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) makes no guarantee of the temperament
or health of the animal, and I agree to hold PAWS, the City of Jefferson, and Greene County of Iowa,
completely harmless for any harm or damage done by the animal while in my custody. During the trial
home visit, it is my full responsibility, including any harm or damage done by said animal, if it should
escape from my control. |
As surety, I will pay PAWS the full amount of the adoption fee (starting at $150 dog; $75 cat), to be refunded if I
return the pet by the agreed date or by the extension date (if requested). |

If I decide not to adopt the animal, I will notify PAWS and return it at a time and place to
be agreed upon. |
If I decide to adopt the animal, I will notify PAWS and arrange a meeting to sign the
necessary papers. (Fee will be paid by our surety deposit.) |
